Two XTU Doctors Included in 2018 National Postdoctoral Innovative Talents Support Program
Recently, the Office of China Postdoctoral Council officially announced the candidates list for the “National Postdoctoral Innovative Talents Support Program” in 2018. Dr. Huang Jian at the Postdoctoral Research Station of Mathematics, and Dr. Zhang Fan from the School of Materials Science and Engineering (proposed to enter the Postdoctoral Research Station of Materials Science and Engineering) were selected.
The National Postdoctoral Innovative Talents Support Program, set up in 2016, is a special postdoctoral support program implemented by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security and the China Postdoctoral Council during the 13th “Five-Year Plan” period. It is aimed at accelerating cultivation of a number of outstanding scientific and technological innovative young talents who have entered the forefront of the world's science and technology. It is another important initiative for cultivating high-level innovative young talents in China.
In 2018, 400 doctors were selected for the program. During the period, the central government would offer them 600,000 CNY per person, of which 400,000 CNY was for postdoctoral daily expenses and 200,000 CNY for postdoctoral science funds.
